After setting up a Hair Loss clinic for the NHS and talking with her patients Dr Sharon Wong discovered that the lack of information, advice, and empathy for hair loss and the stigma attached to it was a huge problem for patients.
So, she created the Get Ahead of Hair Loss event to get the conversation about hair loss started, educate patients, beat the stigma and provide real answers that people could trust.
GAoHL quickly attracted the attention of many medical and non-medical hair care professionals who shared Dr Wong’s concerns. With their help and support the event was a hit.
Now, after two hugely successful events in 2018 and 2019, we’ve brought GAoHL online.
